Congratulation to Ella from Ms. Murtagh’s class for her very funny answer to the ‘Riddle of the Week’ Question. The riddle was – Throw away the outside and cook the inside, then eat the outside and throw away the inside. What is it? Ella’s answer was ‘My Dad’s cooking.’ Poor Dads get a terrible hard time. However, Dads are very clever, because if the dinner is too nice they know that they might be asked to cook again!
Congratulation to Florence who won the post of the week with the following very insightful post
“I had great fun at the National Gallery!
My favourite paintings were…..all of them!
If I had to pick one, it would have to be ‘Grief’, because it was very nice and colourful and you had to look really carefully to try and figure it out!! It was really COOL! I also loved Pablo Picasso, ‘A Still Life with A Mandolin’. It’s a very different style to all the other paintings. The gallery is being renovated at the moment, but there are loads of paintings from different times in art history still on show. It’s a really beautiful building and very modern.
Thankyou sooooooooo much Ms.Murthagh for taking us to the National Gallery!!!And also thank you Kim and Mummy for helping!”
Congratulations to Katie from Mr. Sheekey’s class who won this week’s post of the week. This week’s riddle was – I’m tall when I’m young and I’m short when I’m old. What am I? Katie’s answer was ‘My Granny.’ Everyone thought this was a great and funny answer. Check out the Voki she created on the top right hand side of the blog.
