Mr. Sheekey’s 1st Class have been learning about how to take care of our environment. We learned about how to ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’. We used construction toys and then recycled materials to create pieces of Art. Some of us recreated famous constructions like the Taj Mahal, the Statue of Liberty and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We also created robots, monsters and many other unusual objects! We used lots of different 3d shapes like cylinders, cubes, cuboids and spheres to make our creations look interesting and to help them to balance.
We also worked together to make posters reminding people in St. Kevin’s to take care of our environment.
Ms. Murtagh’s 4th class had lots of fun in school coming up to Christmas. They made sock snowmen, fabric stockings, tree prints and elves. They also had a talent show in their classroom which was terrific! Check out the video.
