The Christmas Choir have been practising hard for this year’s Carol Service. We are very proud of their amazing effort and commitment and know that it will be a great night.
We look forward to seeing a packed church once again this year and hope everyone enjoys our carols, readings and Nativity Tableau.
The Christmas Choir will be looking for everyone in the church to join in with our ‘Sing-Along Medley’. Click on the hippo below to get in some sneaky practice before the big performance!
On Friday, Mr. Sheekey and the Christmas Choir had a busy day spreading the Christmas cheer around Greystones. They began early with a portion of the singers going to Greystones Nursing Home to sing a few carols, which as always, went down a treat.
Afterwards, they made their way down to the dart station (where the rest of the Christmas Choir joined them) to raise money for Crumlin’s Children Hospital and raised a brilliant €253.19 for the great cause. Thank you to everyone who came down to donate and support the singing (and especially to those who joined in…).
Thanks to Mr. Sheekey for all his hard work organising the events and preparing the choir so brilliantly. We are all looking forward to the Carol Service on Thursday. Most importantly, a massive well done to our wonderful students who shared their songs with us all and for representing their school and behaving so magnificently. They really are a credit to the school.
Congratulations to Isabelle Leahy from Mr. Flynn’s class for winning the ‘Post of the Week’ with her comment about Greek Day in 6th Class
“Greek day was so much fun! I loved sampling all the different types of Greek food! I liked the chariot races but I preferred the javelin contest “.
Well done Isabelle, check out her Voki in the corner of our blog.
Our St Vincent de Paul ‘Children Helping Children’ appeal was a massive success this year. The school would like to sincerely thanks all the boys and girls and their parents for their generosity and support. All presents will be delivered locally. The photo above only account for half of present donated. There were approximately 150 presents donated in total.
