Congratulations Jack Mc, Janek, Callum and Jack K from Ms. Brennan’s 6th class, who represented the school at the Intel Mini Scientist competition. They did their project on diabetes and the judges were amazed by their knowledge and ability to clearly communicate to the visitors to their stand. Well done boys. We’re all very proud of you. 2nd Class (Ms. O’Hara’s) buddying up to 5th Class to Celebrate the Book Fair!
We teamed up with the boys and girls in 5th Class to illustrate events from our favourite books as part of the School Book Fair. It was such great fun to choose our favourite scenes and to work alongside great students from 5th Class! Thank you 5th Class and to Mr. Flynn for making this happen in Room 9!

Question of the Week – ‘5 Word Weather!’

Ireland is finally in the middle of the winter season!
This week, we are asking you to describe the weather in a sentence with only 5 words.
You are only allowed to use 5 words, no more no less! For example, if it was very cold, your answer could be “Even Frosty would be frozen!” The funnier and wittier it is, the better!
Take your time and write a short and funny weather forecast. Choose weather from last week or on the day you are posting your comment. Remember, the winner gets a night off written homework. Good luck everyone!

Christmas Corner!
Take a look at the Christmas Corner in the top left corner of the blog! Make sure you try the Christmas games, email your letter to Santa and countdown to the big day with the Advent calendar!
Keep an eye out for some of the songs that classes will be singing in their Christmas plays this year as well! We can’t wait!
