Ceist na Seachtaine – ‘Feicim le mo Shiúlín…’

Tá comórtas nua ar siúl ar an mblog! Bhí Rang Mr. McCarthy ag imirt cluiche nua an tseachtain seo – ‘Feicim le Mo Shiúlín’. Bhí siad ag foghlaim faoi ‘An Seomra Folctha’ agus roghnaigh siad ceithre rud atá sa seomra folctha. Níl a fhios againn cad a fheiceann siad! An bhfuil a fhios agatsa? Cuir síos do fhreagraí sna tuairimí. Caithfidh na freagraí a bheith as Gaeilge agus gheobhaidh tú pás obair bhaile má tá na freagraí ceart!

There is a new competition on the blog! Mr McCarthy’s class were playing a new game this week – ‘I Spy with My Little Eye’. They were learning about the theme ‘The Bathroom’ and they chose 4 objects from the bathroom. We don’t know what they saw! Do you know what they picked? Answer in the comments section below in Irish and whoever guesses the correct 4 words connected with the bathroom will earn a full homework pass!

Question of the Week – ‘5 Word Weather!’

0 wFF9D8s

Ireland is finally in the middle of the winter season!

This week, we are asking you to describe the weather in a sentence with only 5 words.

You are only allowed to use 5 words, no more no less! For example, if it was very cold, your answer could be “Even Frosty would be frozen!” The funnier and wittier it is, the better!

Take your time and write a short and funny weather forecast. Choose weather from last week or on the day you are posting your comment. Remember, the winner gets a night off written homework. Good luck everyone!
